IIT Guwahati-BioNEST Bio-Incubation Centre, supported by Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), Government of India, strategically located at the IIT Guwahati campus with a vision to foster innovative research and entrepreneurial activities in Healthcare, Agritech, Foodtech and Clean Energy related areas. The main focus area of the facility is the incubation of a host of entrepreneurs and hand-hold them from ideation to market entry.
About Kickstart 3.0:
Kickstart is the marquee event of IIT Guwahati BioNEST Incubator. IITG BioNEST is hosting the third edition of Kickstart3.0, Start-up conclave in association with PICO (Pan IIM Consultancy Organization), Skill Club India and Indian Chambers of Commerce to create a unique template in North East India, to explore avenues for Market Creation, Technology Transfer, Product Commercialization, thereby helping the startups across India by promoting their Market Reach and Business Expansion. The two-days “Power- packed” event will have Start-ups, Innovators, Investors, Influencers and Enablers at one platform to meet, interact, network and expand.
This year, the event will have a special focus on “Early Stage Startups” who are looking for raising funds to build prototypes or scaleup to gain initial traction. The participating startups will get a chance to interact with investors interested in early stage startups and establish synergies. They will also go through the mentoring program before the final pitching day.
Also the program in open to student “wannabe” entrepreneurs who have an Idea which they are looking forward to get funded to develop the proof-of-concept.
