1.3 billion people of India makes the country the second most populous in the world, but with an average age of 29, it has one of the youngest populations globally. India is home to a fifth of the world’s youth demographic and this population advantage could play a critical role in achieving the nation’s ambitious target to become a US $ 5 trillion economy. The large youth population offers both a workforce as well as a market. These young people are driving a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and diversity. But The terrific media report about skilled labour force scares us. The 2015 Report on National Policy on Skill Development and Entrepreneurship estimated that only 4.7% of the total workforce in India had undergone formal skill training compared with 52% in the US, 80% in Japan, and 96% in South Korea.
So, we should put utmost importance on skills training as we need skilled manpower as per the Industry requirement. Skill club India is taking the pledge to empower the youth by providing the industry required skills training and mentorship. Skill club India is thriving to impart demand-driven and market relevant courses to address skill development and training.
